After he was born, Muhammad was a little yellow, but the doctors told him it would soon pass and he was discharged from the hospital. A short time later he was already in the intensive care unit. The boy received prolonged drug therapy, but there was no result. When the baby turned the color of a pumpkin, his father took him away, against a signed receipt, and his parents took him to Vladikavkaz Regional Children's Hospital for medical examination. The prescribed treatment did not help Muhammad, the tests were bad, and the child had increased bilirubin. The doctors advised the parents to turn to specialists in Moscow. The child was finally given an accurate diagnosis: "Cirrhosis of the liver". Only a liver transplantation surgery could save the boy's life. The family was referred to the Shumakov Scientific Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery. The family was referred to the Shumakov Scientific Research Center of the Russian Ministry of Health for examination under the program of family transplantation. Fortunately, my father was a suitable donor. The surgery was successfully performed in May 2018.
Muhammad's condition is not quite satisfactory now. Bilirubin has risen and has not gone down for two months. Therefore, the child needs to be taken to Moscow for an examination.
