David is 5 years old and has an autism spectrum disorder. Because of this, the boy has a broken understanding of reversed speech, no self-service skills, problems with motor skills, lack of contact with others.
For 2 months of intensive work of specialists, David has made significant progress in development! After practicing ava therapy, the boy achieved excellent results in the formation of communicative activity - he learned to formulate requests independently, take initiative in communication, expanded his vocabulary, learned to use the words "to the place", improved understanding of the addressed speech. David also became more focused and attentive in the classroom, began to follow the teacher's instructions well, imitate, reproduce a small chain of actions, distinguish between identical and non-identical cards.
Before the start of the rehabilitation course, David's muscle tone was reduced, with pronounced vestibular dysfunction, it is for these reasons that the boy has problems with motor skills, balance, and exercise. To solve this problem, a sensory integration specialist used such tools as hand and foot weights and a weighted blanket during classes. During the classes, David showed absolutely no resistance, but since he is very neurodynamic, the process was quite slow. However, a lot has been achieved in 2 months. The boy began to cope with the obstacle course, climbing stairs, throwing a ball, crawling with his whole body, and fine motor skills improved through playing with cereals and working with small details.
The sports instructor got David to keep his balance on the balance beam for a long time, taught him to jump, ride a scooter and put him on a gyro scooter.
