Unfortunately, there are many elderly people in Novorossiysk who are left without the care of their relatives and have too small a pension to eat a full meal.
Our foundation and the Novorossiysk Department of Social Protection are constantly working to identify elderly people in need. We take a comprehensive approach to solving their problems, combining our efforts. But the issue of poor nutrition is always an issue for lonely, frail elderly people.
Our programme covers all districts of the city. Every day, couriers deliver ready-made hot lunches, enabling the elderly to avoid living in an old people's home. For many months we have been bringing food to our charges, but they are never used to it and are crying with happiness that someone is needed.
Your support will help us secure funding for part of the costs of this programme. The money we have collected will be enough to buy food, disposable tableware and to pay for courier services for 45 project participants.
