Baby Farahnoz is only 4.5 months old. And she needs a liver transplant. ⚡️
The girl was born on time, with normal weight, and all health indicators were normal.
On the fifth day her mother noticed that her skin and whites of her eyes became yellow. Parents immediately called the pediatrician. The doctor examined the baby, but since her older children, Firuza, had physiological jaundice for quite a long time, it was decided to observe the child a little longer. At two months, during a routine medical checkup, the district doctor noticed that the baby's skin did not lighten at all and prescribed medicine for the girl.
Some time later the family arrived in Moscow from Tajikistan and the girl suddenly became abruptly ill. An ambulance was called. The child was rushed to St. Vladimir's Children's Clinical Hospital, where a disappointing diagnosis was made: Secondary biliary cirrhosis.
The parents were told that only a transplant could save the child's life.
In Tajikistan, such operations are not performed, and in Russia it is only possible on a paid basis, as the parents and child do not have Russian citizenship.
Fortunately, the mother was matched as a donor, and a date for the lifesaving operation will be set shortly.
Transplantation cannot be postponed, the child's condition with this diagnosis can worsen at any time.
The only problem is to pay for the treatment. The money needed to pay for the surgery and examinations is beyond the means of a family.
