Movement Up Charity Foundation needs help in organizing the project "Modern effective rehabilitation methods for children with disabilities". The aim of the project is to educate specialists in the field of rehabilitation in the Republic of Abkhazia in order to improve their qualification and quality of aid, provided to such children.
The project will be implemented by Russian specialists from EKZARTA - one of the top-lead medical rehabilitation centers. The project will include: round tables for the medical community, master classes, demonstrating the appliance of modern rehabilitation methods for both the medical community and parents, as well as individual consultations.
The educational project will be held in three cities of the Republic of Abkhazia: Gagra, Gudauta, Sukhum.
The implementation of this educational project will allow:
1. To increase the knowledge of medical specialists of the Republic of Abkhazia about modern rehabilitation methods, differences, principles and appliance limits of effective methods, the peculiarities of their combination in practice.
2. To inform parents about the ways of solving the problems of children with disabilities, focus area of rehabilitation.
3. To increase the level of parents’ responsibility through the distribution of obligations: what can be done only with the help of specialists and what part of the tasks only the parents can solve
