Semyon has successfully completed an intensive course of classes!

6-year-old Semyon has several disappointing diagnoses - delayed psycho-speech development, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, as well as autism spectrum disorder. Semyon speaks individual words, understands the addressed speech at the everyday level, but he lacks phrasal speech, it is difficult for him to sit still and concentrate on the task, tantrums and refusals to fulfill requirements often occur. Thanks to classes with a behavioral analyst, Semyon learned to sit at the table and cooperate with the teacher without undesirable behavior, to ask for the desired items in a socially acceptable way. The boy learned to follow two-component instructions, sort and name categories of objects, distinguish objects by function, identify an extra object in the set by color, shape, size or category of the object. Semyon learned to distinguish prepositions and use them correctly in speech, learned the game "add a phrase", thanks to which the boy's vocabulary expanded, as well as the game "lotto", which helped him form an idea of observing the rules and order in the game, without tantrums and undesirable behavior. Before the start of the intensive rehabilitation course, Semyon had reduced musculoskeletal sensitivity, weak eye contact, he could not express requests, which caused hysterics. In addition, the boy has hyposensitivity of the vestibular apparatus, reduced auditory perception and attention. A specialist in sensory integration was working to eliminate the identified violations, so by the end of the rehabilitation course, Semyon began to look confidently into his eyes, his auditory attention and speech perception increased, and the boy also performed a set of exercises to increase muscle sensitivity, which means better control his body and develop general and fine motor skills.Semyon began to express requests, to turn to the teacher with questions and for help, which had never happened before. Thanks to intensive classes with an adaptive physical culture coach, the boy has mastered various simulators, jumping over barriers and throwing a ball, rides a gyro scooter, roller skates perfectly, and especially Semyon enjoys cycling.
