Safina has undergone an intensive rehabilitation course!

8-year-old Safina has a delay in psychorechological development, which is complicated by epilepsy. The girl is very affectionate and friendly, but due to the diagnosis she has problems with motor skills, the level of cognitive skills, has difficulty communicating, suffers from a disorder of the pronunciation side of speech. Thanks to the well-coordinated work of specialists, Safina has achieved great success during the intensive rehabilitation course. AVA-specialist actively worked to improve the girl's communication and academic skills. Safina has learned to formulate a phrase for requests and communication with peers on her own. Game skills have improved, the girl has learned to cooperate with children and adults, to observe the order when playing board and story-role-playing games. The neurologist worked on the formation of active speech and the expansion of Safina's vocabulary. Before the start of the course, the girl used 1-2 words, at the moment she speaks sentences of 3-4 words. Safina also talked very quietly, did not finish the words, added diminutive endings to words, she had no idea about nouns in the plural, there was a very meager supply of verbs and adjectives at the everyday level. Now Safina has become free to use nouns, verbs and adjectives in speech in one sentence. Work was also carried out on the introduction of prepositions into the active speech of Safina, and the correct change of gender, number, case, in order to build a competent correct sentence. The instructor of adaptive physical culture taught Safina to practice on various simulators, keep balance on a balance beam, jump, throw a ball, overcome an obstacle course, ride a scooter, a gyro scooter, roller skates and a bicycle. The sensory integration specialist worked on improving Safina's large and small motor skills and adjusted the work of the vestibular apparatus. Thanks to the completed rehabilitation course, Safina began to speak loudly, confidently, and most importantly correctly, to feel her body in space, learned new useful skills, all this helped the girl to become more confident and feel free with her peers.
