The Gift to an Angel Charity Foundation would like to thank everyone who donated to our Formula of Freedom project.
The project planned for March 2022 didn't take place due to the change of social agenda and the change of priorities in financial and informational support of our partner.
So the Foundation decided to suspend the campaign at 86,221 rubles and use the funds to pay for much needed speech therapy rehabilitation for one of our charges.
If you supported the project but do not agree with the decision made by the Foundation, please, contact us for a refund.
Thanks to the donations, the Foundation was able to pay for speech therapy rehabilitation for 13-year-old Lyuba Baryshnikova, who has cerebral palsy. She intact intellect, goes to school, and is independent in her everyday life, but she has problems with her speech.
For three months of rehabilitation, Lyuba worked with a speech therapist to correct her impairments. Long-term exercises of articulation and breathing exercises helped her speech apparatus develop, spasticity decreased, which in turn helps Lyuba to form words more clearly.
Thanks to the training, Luba can communicate better, and her speech is understood, even by people she does not know. This is very important because she uses taxi by herself, goes to stores, and communicates with teachers and peers at school.

The formula for freedom
The Gift of Angel Foundation is launching the "Freedom Formula" project, a karting school for racers with cerebral palsy and other motor disabilities. We have developed a program and methodology for the rehabilitation of people with disabilities through karting lessons. The project will be implemented on the basis of the Primo karting club in St. Petersburg, where once a week the group will have classes with coaches, and once a month there will be competitive Grand Prix.
"Freedom Formula" has several goals:
- Socialization through active participation in the life of the kart club, communication with like-minded people and mentors.
- Increasing the availability of motorsports by creating a community of racers.
- Popularization of karting in Russia. Positioning karting as an accessible sport and increasing public awareness of the problems of people with physical disabilities.
Why is it important?
Rehabilitation:
-Regular karting practice is the most important rehabilitation process for people with cerebral palsy and other motor disabilities.
Socialization:
-Active participation in the karting community promotes the socialization of people with disabilities and their integration into society.
Competition:
-Regular competitions for riders with cerebral palsy and other motor disabilities can be a great example of promoting inclusion in sports and raising public awareness of people with disabilities.
Career:
-Many famous Formula 1 drivers started their sporting careers in karting. "Formula Freedom" opens up real opportunities to get out of the restricted environment and into the limitless world of racing.
The funds raised will be used for the "Freedom Formula" project and the purchase of special technical rehabilitation equipment for people with cerebral palsy and other motor impairments.
