Zurab has completed a 3-month rehabilitation course!

9-year-old Zurab has autism. He does not speak, partially understands the addressed speech, the boy's cognitive skills do not correspond to his age. From March to May 2022, Zurab underwent 3 intensive rehabilitation courses conducted by specialists from Astrakhan. After classes with an adaptive sports instructor, the boy learned to keep his balance, follow instructions with an object (hoop, ball, cones, rope), exercise on simulators, climb stairs, jump over barriers and much more. Zurab's large and small motor skills improved, he learned to follow several instructions at the same time, for example, to stand on a balance beam and arrange balls by colors. The behavioral analyst in these courses focused on the development of Zurab's academic skills. At the end of 3 courses, he learned to distinguish motivational items (chips, bubbles, chocolate) from cards, and to put puzzles in four parts. The boy's motor imitation skills have significantly improved, he began to actively use the pointing gesture, including in everyday life. Zurab has strengthened the behavior of the listener, that is, now he understands and follows the instructions of the teacher well, and in general has become more diligent and attentive in the classroom.
