As part of the medical campaign, KBF "Ashana" once again invited to Abkhazia Doctor of Medical Sciences, author of 29 scientific publications and 4 patents for treatment methods, traumatologist and orthopedist from Armenia - Hovsep Avetikovich Danielyan.

Hovsep Avetikovich has already visited the country more than once to examine children with musculoskeletal disorders.

During this period of stay of the orthopedic doctor he examined more than 80 children. During the examinations, children were identified who need orthoses, which will enable them to stand firmly on their feet and help reduce pain during movement. They then had casts made for 14 orthotics at the hospital with the participation of medical professionals.

Such working visits of specialists from different countries and exchange of experience will significantly increase the number of healthy children in Abkhazia.

The Ashana Foundation needs help with a medical campaign

The Ashana CF once again invites to Abkhazia doctor of medical sciences, author of 29 scientific publications and 4 patents on methods of treatment, traumatologist-orthopedist Ovsep Avetikovich Danielyan.

During his stay, the Yerevan specialist will hold a three-day free consultation for children with disorders of the musculoskeletal system at the rehabilitation centers in Abkhazia.

If in the course of examination there are revealed children who need urgent surgical treatment, the specialist will carry out surgeries on the basis of the Republican Children's Hospital of Sukhumi with the participation of surgeons of Abkhazia.

This kind of working visits of specialists from different countries and exchange of experience will allow to pass to more effective methods of treatment, as well as significantly increase the number of healthy residents of Abkhazia. Once again we ask for your help.
