Tikhomir has completed 2 intensive rehabilitation courses in Magas!

Tikhomir is 4.5 years old and has autism. The boy does not talk, does not interact with other children, understands the addressed speech partially. In May, Tikhomir underwent 2 intensive rehabilitation courses on ava therapy and adaptive physical culture. During intensive classes, Tikhomir learned to imitate movements with an object, repeating after the teacher, to compare identical and non-identical pictures with images and objects, the boy formed an index gesture and improved understanding of the reversed speech. The specialist was working on developing Tikhomir's "listener behavior", thanks to which he became more diligent and involved in classes. The boy was introduced to the 1st and 2nd stages of the PECS alternative communication system (communication using cards). Also, during the course, an individual program for the development of Tikhomir was compiled, according to which he will be able to continue regular classes both with a specialist and at home. Thanks to classes with a sports instructor, the boy learned to perform exercises with a ball, jump, overcome obstacles, his large and small motor skills improved, the ability to keep balance.
