Thanks to all of us, Milana has new skills and achievements!

Milana Volkova, 6 years old Diagnosis: cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis, residual period. She needs rehabilitation in the Sakura Medical Center, Chelyabinsk. Olga Volkova, the mother of two wonderful children, six year old Milana and eleven year old Misha, applied to the Geography of Good Charity Fund. Olga is raising her children alone, and the younger girl has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy since she was nine months old, which the Volkovs are still battling today! Their daughter was born significantly prematurely, during the 29th week of pregnancy. The baby was placed in a special heated couch with a lot of tubes and put on a ventilator, because she couldn't breathe on her own. The girl and her mother were sent to the nursing department for premature babies where she underwent intensive treatment, because during the delivery some of the brain cells were damaged, especially the cells responsible for motor activity. Milana is 6 years old now, she has overcome a lot of difficulties during this time, her treatment continues up to now. Regular rehabilitation, physical training, massages, physical therapy give results. The girl is going to a specialized kindergarten, she sings, writes songs, draws and is eager to learn. Milanochka's intellect is stable and normal for her age. At the moment Milana's main difficulties are arm and leg strain, because of which she cannot coordinate her movements, and she is afraid to fall. Olga says that regular rehabilitation gives the girl great results, new skills appear, but we need money for regular exercises, and the Volkova family doesn't have any! There is hope for you, because only a person can help a person!
