Thanks to your help, Sasha had a genetic test done so the doctors could choose a treatment! 🙏🏻

As a reminder, Sasha is 7 years old. In spite of 10 operations on his eyes, the child is blind. And besides Sasha is heavily disturbed by epilepsy attacks. Drug therapy does not completely stop the seizures.

The neurologist recommended to take a "Complete Genome Sequencing" analysis, to confirm or refute genetic diseases.

The boy had the test done. The results are expected in November. Then the doctors can choose the therapy.

Sasha suffers from blindness and needs genetic analysis to stop his epilepsy attacks!

Sasha is seven years old. Although the boy has had more than 10 operations in his little life due to the diagnosis of retinal detachment, it has not been possible to preserve his vision. The child has gone blind.

And in addition Sasha is severely disturbed by epilepsy attacks. Drug therapy does not stop the seizures completely. In addition, some of the medications caused side effects, and some did not work at all.

The neurologist recommended that he should have a Whole Genome Sequencing test to confirm or refute genetic diseases.

Without this analysis, doctors cannot make a correct diagnosis and prescribe therapy, and treatment is selected by trial and error.

Genetic testing is very expensive. The boy's family cannot afford to pay that, because only his father works and more than a half of the family budget is spent on treatment.
