Report

Allanazarov Hasan was born 12 weeks prematurely and weighed only 1.5 kilograms at birth.

Because of the early birth his eyes were severely damaged. At six months old, Hasan was diagnosed with retinopathy of prematurity grade 4. This means retinal detachment and subsequent blindness.

Only surgery could help the boy. Such treatment is not yet available in Uzbekistan, and doctors at the St. Petersburg State Hospital could have saved Hasan's eyesight. But the surgery had to be paid for.

This year Hasan needed to come for a second surgery to consolidate the results of the treatment.

Hasan's father works in Tashkent at a bazaar, and his mother raises the children. The parents could no longer find that kind of money to pay again.

Thanks to your help Hassan had the second stage of surgery. It will save the baby's eyes and lay the foundation for their further development.

Allanazarov's whole family would like to heartily thank you for giving their son and brother the opportunity to see their loved ones and the world around them!

About the campaign

Little Hasan needs an eye surgery!

Allanazarov Hasan was born on 20.10.2020 in Tashkent 12 weeks prematurely, weighing only 1.5 kilos at birth.

After birth the baby was admitted to the intensive care unit, and a few days later from the maternity hospital he was transferred with his mother Zahra to the city perinatal hospital, where Hasan was treated for 45 days.

The baby was treated at the hospital for a long time, and in December he was discharged, weighing 1,900 grams. But unfortunately, his eyes were badly hurt.

At six months Hasan was diagnosed with retinopathy of prematurity level 4.

The baby needed urgent surgery on his eyes. Such treatment is not yet available in Uzbekistan, the surgery could have been done in St. Petersburg for a fee.

Hasan's father works in Tashkent at a bazaar, and his mother is at home raising Hasan and three other small children. The cost of the surgery was too high for the family, so the parents had to borrow money.

Last May, surgeons from St. Petersburg performed the first stage of surgery on both of Hasan's eyes. It was successful, and the doctors have seen a positive trend.

Now it is necessary to perform the second stage of the operation to save the baby's eyes and lay the foundation for their further development.

But at the moment the family does not have the financial means to pay for this operation. Together we can help to raise the necessary amount of money for the treatment of Hasan and give him the opportunity to see his loved ones and the world around him.
