Hamza is 9 months old. The boy is the long-awaited son and so far the only child in the family.
At birth all was well. The baby was growing and developing by leaps and bounds. But at 7 months of age his parents noticed a head deformity and one eye was bigger than the other. After examination the parents were diagnosed with craniostenosis of coronary sutures.
The boy needs a surgery - cranioplasty.
Such surgeries are not performed in Kazakhstan in the boy's home country. The operation could be carried out by doctors at Morozovskaya Children's Hospital.
At the moment the child's brain is crushed by bones growing irregularly in the skull, which is causing intracranial pressure to build up.
An operation is needed soon.
The mother is very hopeful that after the operation her son will develop normally and his eyes will be beautiful, identical. "I dream about it and just tears come to my eyes," the woman writes.
