Thanks to your support, on October 8-9 a trip to the capital of Udmurtia with a visit to the Izhevsk Zoo and the museum named after M. Kalashnikov was organized for the clients of the "Breaking Barriers" Center from the Republic of Bashkortostan. Special children saw live demonstrational feeding of walruses and seals, exotic animals, pink flamingos, penguins, lions, monkeys and many other animals. With the help of co-funding they managed to organize a trip not for 8 handicapped children, but for 17! Children and their parents stayed overnight in a hotel, had meals and transfers. In addition, an excursion to the Mikhail Kalashnikov Museum was organized. "My son is homeschooled and has limited communication. Such trips are very necessary and important for special children. The children on the way, on the walk, in the zoo, in the museum, in the hotel socializing and playing, it's very valuable!" - says Rimma, mother of a special Gleb. Good walks for special children

We don't want the world of special children to be the walls of apartments, and a visit (for example) to a rehabilitation center once every six months to be a big event in their lives. That is why, since 2015, the "Breaking Barriers" Center has been organizing "kind" outings for children with disabilities. Thanks to this, children discover a new world, knowledge and make new friends, because every child should have a childhood. Our wards - children with disabilities - are very eager to visit the Udmurtia Zoo. Ufa does not have its own zoo. The children dream of seeing with their own eyes a walrus show, exotic animals, demonstration feeding cats, monkeys and many other animals that they have only seen on TV or on the Internet. Acquaintance with the world of animals, a trip to another city is very beneficial for special children. It allows them to develop, to see the world, to open new horizons, to be inspired. All this has a very positive effect on their attitude to themselves, physical form and psychological state, and it is doubly important for special children. We are collecting money to help 8 special children and their parents go to the capital of Udmurtia. Due to their health peculiarities, the trip will include an overnight stay for safety and comfort.
