We would like to share the news about Fatima. Thanks to you, the operation to correct Fatima's strabismus was successful.

Fatima was born 11 weeks prematurely, weighing only 1400 grams. From early childhood Fatima faced a number of difficulties. But thanks to the perseverance and professionalism of the medical team, it was possible to successfully overcome this challenge.

However, at six months old, a problem with strabismus arose. Doctors prescribed special ophthalmic bandages for one eye, which Fatima wore for more than a year. Later she was diagnosed with partial optic nerve atrophy and prescribed glasses. and prescribed glasses. Now Fatima is 2.5 years old, and thanks to your help, we were able to perform a three-stage operation to correct strabismus. The operation included relaxation of the oculomotor muscle with Botox, which allowed us to completely remove the strabismus and preserve her vision.

Fatima needs an operation to correct her strabismus!

Fatima was born in Makhachkala 11 weeks early, weighing 1400 grams.

At two and a half months the girl was diagnosed with retinopathy of prematurity, which she managed to overcome. But at six months Fatima's eyes began to squint, first doctors prescribed to wear occluder (special ophthalmic bandage on one eye). The child wore them for more than a year. Fatima was diagnosed with "partial atrophy of the optic nerves," and was given a prescription for glasses. With strabismus the child's vision is difficult, he sees everything flat, vision begins to sag.

Now the girl is 2.5 years old and needs a surgery to correct her strabismus. The surgery is done in three stages and allows her to fix her strabismus by relaxing the eye moving muscles with Botox and saving her eyesight.

Her father is the only one working in the family and does not have the money to pay for the treatment her daughter needs.
