You have helped us educate almost a thousand children on the principles of respect for the environment!

“Oh yes, recyclable!” is an environmental education project, the theme of which is waste and recycling. Thanks to the project, we show that it is time to think about how much garbage each of us produces, what happens to it in landfills, why recycling is needed and how to start separating and reducing waste today. When we worked in schools with children, we saw that few children are aware of environmental problems. Parents and teachers do not involve them in environmental issues, they do not know about the possibilities of solving environmental problems. That is why we have trained speakers and prepared interactive and exciting activities for children from kindergartens and schoolchildren in grades 1-7. The lessons use a presentation, video, cards with pictures. In 2020, we conducted 160 lessons for 3270 children. A survey of the organizers of the lessons showed that the children had a high interest, they were actively involved in the activities. A third of the respondents answered that the children implemented their eco-initiatives at school after the lesson, a quarter said that the children introduced part of the habits at home. With the funds raised, we will conduct 40 lessons for more than 1,000 children in St. Petersburg.
