Thanks to the generosity of Tooba users, the money needed for tests and surgery to biopsy the tumour was raised.

The results of the biopsy helped the doctors to make a definite diagnosis: Erzat has Hodgkin's lymphoma. The boy's family is going through a difficult time, but at least he has a clear treatment plan. Oncologists have much experience in dealing with lymphoma, and the most important thing now is not to lose time.

On 21st October the boy was admitted to Moscow Regional Oncology Dispensary in Balashikha and started chemotherapy.

Lymphoma is treatable and Erzat is determined to fight and win. Thank you, tubers!

Erzat has lymphoma. He needs to start treatment right away!

Just a year ago, seven-year-old Erzat was a carefree first-grader. The bright and sensible boy coped easily with his lessons. No wonder! After all, his mother is an elementary school teacher. Besides her four children she teaches 25 others.

Last fall Erzat got severe swelling on his face. The doctors decided that it was nephrotic syndrome, and prescribed treatment. It helped, but the swellings came back again and again. For nine months in her native Kyrgyzstan, doctors were unable to find the cause of the child's ailments. In Bishkek, oncologists presumed that the boy had cancer, but they could not make an exact diagnosis.

In September 2022, his mother brought her son to Moscow to consult with Moscow doctors. The oncologists immediately began to believe that Erzat had lymphoma, but in order to verify the diagnosis, he needed tests: PET-CT and a biopsy of the supraclavicular lymph node. There are several types of lymphoma, and without a definitive diagnosis, treatment will not be most effective. The cost of a biopsy and PET-CT examination at the N.N. Blokhin Cancer Center. N.N.
