Muhammad was born prematurely. His parents took good care of their son and noticed that Muhammad's eyes were "running," so they immediately went to the hospital. There they found out that the child could no longer see, and that only an operation could help him. In the spring of 2022 Muhammad already had his first surgery to save his eyesight, and the doctors were happy with the results. But treating retinopathy of prematurity, the disease that almost took away his ability to see, is a long and multistep process. And after the first surgery, doctors told Muhammad's parents to come back in 4 months for a second surgery. The family already has no money for a second surgery. They have five other children in the family, all in school. Their mother is a housewife and father works as a loader at the market. That's why they had to turn to us for help.
