Thanks to the help of donors, the Foundation organised cooking classes for the girls in the ward!

As part of the Green Lamp educational project, the Foundation organised cooking courses for teenage girls from among its beneficiaries. At the cookery courses, the girls learn the basics of cooking, learn various cooking techniques and methods, and learn the basics of nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. They learn to cook a variety of dishes - from salads and appetisers to main courses and desserts. This knowledge and skills will be very useful to them in the future. Firstly, they will be able to participate in family life by preparing meals for their loved ones. Secondly, the cookery skills they have learnt will help the girls in choosing a profession. Perhaps one of them will turn out to be a talented cook or pastry chef and will want to connect his life with cookery. For others, knowledge of cooking will be an important skill among other professional skills. Overall, taking a cookery course will multiply the girls' life experiences and develop their potential for a successful and happy future life.
