Eva took a speech development course. Thanks to your support, her speech has become clearer and more literate.

Russian is like a foreign language for first-grader Eva Shonina. She gets confused with endings, genders and numbers. Surgeons were able to quickly restore the girl's hearing: they installed cochlear implants. But only rehabilitation can help her develop her speech.

For five years, the girl has been regularly engaged with a speech therapist and a speech pathologist, which helped her to socialize and make friends. Eva has a good vocabulary and is easily understood by her peers. But her skills are not good enough for a regular school. The beginning of the school year showed that Eva needs help from highly qualified professionals.

She cannot yet easily recognize individual sounds in words, which means that it will be difficult for her to write dictations. She cannot always form a sentence correctly or answer a detailed question. Now Eva needs a course in hearing and speech development at the Center "Speech Therapy-Profi" (Saint-Petersburg).

Rehabilitation is impossible to get at OMC. You and I can help Eva. One intensive course is enough to "raise" the speech, and consequently the progress of Eva. We have the power to support the girl so that she has as few difficulties as possible in her studies and life.
