Slava needs to undergo another rehabilitation course to start walking.

Slava is six years old. He has cerebral palsy, a disease of the musculoskeletal system. Slava was an orphan until he was three years old, so he was brought up in an orphanage. But Slava was lucky and for three years now he has a family. His life has changed dramatically! All the members of the large professional foster family adore Slava. The boy is very smart, inquisitive and very goal-oriented. Foster parents understand the importance of intensive rehabilitation and socialization of their disabled child and that is why they are actively working on his health and integration into society. For three years the boy has been regularly undergoing rehabilitation courses in specialized centers, and this year Slava started going to his regular kindergarten. For the time being Slava does not walk by himself. He moves with the help of special technical aids or by holding an adult's hand. But, due to his lively mind and strong-willed character, he dreams of walking independently.
