Ilya underwent a rehabilitation course

Ilya is 5 years old. He has shunt-dependent hydrocephalus and, as a consequence, cerebral palsy. Immediately after birth, the boy became an orphan. But as early as one month old, he found new parents. They took the boy into their family without suspecting his illness. At 3 months old, Ilya's head grew rapidly due to excess fluid. Then there was a series of neurosurgical operations on the brain, a difficult struggle for life. Taking into consideration the importance of rehabilitation of their disabled child, Ilya's foster parents actively take care of his development. The boy has been regularly undergoing rehabilitation courses at specialized rehabilitation centers for five years, which have given positive results time after time. Ilya does not control his body well. But, by virtue of his lively mind and strong-willed character, he dreams of moving around on his own. With the help of the next course of rehabilitation, the boy's muscle tone will decrease, and as a result, Ilya will gain and consolidate new motor skills.
