Yusif was genetically tested!

Baby Yusif is three months old. The boy spent one and a half months in intensive care, in a serious condition, on a ventilator. Doctors believe that a coronavirus infection provoked the debut of a congenital genetic disease - primary immunodeficiency. In this disease, the immune system does not work, and any virus becomes deadly. Because of the absence of natural protection, Yusif cannot cope with complications until now. Neither chemotherapy, nor antibiotics, nor hormones help. The baby's liver, spleen, and lymph nodes are critically enlarged, and blood tests show a serious inflammatory process. The only way to help Yusif is an expensive genetic study - full-exome sequencing. This analysis will clarify the child's diagnosis and tell the doctors what therapy will be effective and safe for him. The genetic tests are not included in the compulsory medical insurance system, and the boy's family cannot afford to pay for the analysis themselves.
