Bilal was born eight weeks premature. At 4.5 months of age, Bilal was diagnosed with congenital cataracts. Over time, it turned out that Bilal had stage 4b and 5 retinopathy of prematurity. This means that the baby could no longer see out of one eye.

Bilal needed an operation immediately. Bilal's parents didn't have any treatment for retinopathy of prematurity in his motherland, so Bilal's family had to ask for help.

Bilal needs an operation to save his own eyesight!

Bilal was born 8 weeks premature. At 4.5 months, Bilal was diagnosed with "congenital cataract" at the ophthalmologist's appointment and was told to wait until 10-11 months with the operation, since the child was still very weak.

Friends advised him to go for an operation, where it turned out that Bilal had retinopathy of prematurity 4b and 5 stages. This means that the child no longer sees completely with one eye.

In the boy's homeland, at the moment, they do not treat retinopathy of prematurity. Here Bilal is doomed to complete blindness. But doctors in Russia can help him. Ophthalmologists from St. Petersburg can compete for vision in the second eye.

Any operations for citizens of the CIS in Russia are paid. Bilal's parents are now unable to pay for their son's treatment - his father unofficially works at a car wash, and his mother is still at home with her son.
