Winter is the hardest time for shelters. During the colder months, dogs and cats require more care as their immune system decreases, and with large numbers of animals there is a risk of disease and even epidemics. Therefore, in winter, we devote all our efforts to ensuring that our charges are well-fed and warm.
When we launched the project, we had a need for heat guns, but at the end of the project there were people who bought us the necessary equipment. Therefore, we wanted to find a similar need in the shelter and purchased 12 small heaters, which over the next few seasons will help us heat the foundation’s shelter.
Now the shelter is undergoing renovation work, so we intend to spend the rest of the amount on building materials - paint, boards, and so on.
