Mukhamad Karamustaev was born prematurely, at week 30 week, weighing only 1600 grams. On the 14th day the baby was diagnosed with hydrocephalus. And when Mukhamad was 1 month old, he underwent an operation and a shunt was installed. Later on the boy was diagnosed with CP (cerebral palsy). In 2022 Mukhamad underwent surgery to relieve spasticity (muscle stiffness), after which he has improvements. The boy can roll over on his own, sit leaning on the back of a chair, began to hold items with his hands, better controls the movements of his arms and legs. After the operation Mukhamad should undergo rehabilitation courses on a regular basis not only with specialists, but also at home. To maintain health and further develop independent walking skills, Muhamad urgently needs a standing frame. Mukhamad’s mom brings up 7 children alone and cannot purchase this orthopedic device on her own.
