Kirill has been fighting for his life last five years.
Before that he has almost everything he ever dreamed about: five children, beloved wife, interesting job. Then he was diagnosed with aplastic anemia. First treatment courses didn’t go well, and the disease progressed to one that was even more dangerous — myelodysplastic syndrome.
Kirill underwent many courses of chemo and bone marrow transplant.
But his fight didn’t end there. He got graft-versus-host disease — one of the most dangerous complications of a transplant. Donor cells attacked his organs: his skin, his bowel, his lungs.
To overcome the disease, he urgently needs a course of Jakavi medicine. But he can’t get it for free, and he can’t pay for it. Cause of the constant sickness only can work at part time projects, and he needs to support his family.
