Abubakr has epidermolysis bullosa. This is an insidious hereditary disease that affects the skin, making it extremely vulnerable. Any careless touch threatens with the appearance of extensive, poorly healing wounds.

Many hours of daily bandaging helps to protect the boy from injuries. First, Abubakr's mother treats his skin with special ointments and creams, and then applies a multilayer bandage that protects Abubakr like a second skin.
