Dear Toobers! Thanks to you, Alim had a successful heart surgery!

Let us remind you that after birth the boy was diagnosed with pulmonary artery atresia type 4. He needed an urgent operation, and on arrival in Moscow it was successfully performed with your help!

After the first operation Alim's condition improved: strong puffiness disappeared and the child began to develop well, but a few months later at the scheduled examination it turned out that the second stage of the operation was necessary. And thanks to you, the boy was successfully operated again!

Now Alim is already 2 years old, he is at home with his family, growing and rapidly developing! The mom shared that her son has already started to talk a little, he has a very good memory, and even noted that Alim is much more mobile and capable than his twin brother, he is constantly inventing something new for games!

Alim needs heart surgery!

Alim is 10 months old and needs heart surgery! ⚡

Alim was discharged home two days after his birth. When the family paediatrician visited him, she said there was a murmur in his heart. The baby was referred for an Echo. And then he was admitted to hospital for tests. This was in the baby's home country, Kyrgyzstan.

The diagnosis was: ALA (pulmonary artery atresia) type 4. But the local doctors refused to operate and advised to take the child to Russia.

Thanks to your help, Alym has already had his first surgery at Bakulev National Centre of Cardiovascular Surgery in Moscow. After that, Alim's condition improved: severe dyspnea is gone. The child is developing, holds his head on his own. But still the body is weak, he cannot sit or walk on his own. There is a lividity of the skin, nails and lips.

There is a need for the second stage of the operation, which hopefully will be the final stage and lead to the complete recovery of the child.

Alim is a calm and very diligent boy. Looking at him, his mother of course dreams that he will get well and when he grows up, he will be a famous cardiac surgeon and will help all sick children.
