Do you remember our mentee Nikita? We have great news!

We collected the money we needed for Nikita's vision correction surgery, because Nikita had problems with his eyesight because he was born prematurely and he had severe strabismus. Strabismus prevented Nikita from seeing in everyday life.

Finally we are ready to share great news! Nikita had an operation and he is recovering from it and has even had time to feel some important changes.

Nikita needs an eye surgery to restore his vision!

Nikita was born 11 weeks prematurely. Because he was born prematurely, Nikita has trouble seeing - he has severe strabismus. It prevents Nikita from seeing properly, and simple actions require a lot of effort. Strabismus interferes with Nikita's learning and daily life. Nikita needs to have an operation to correct his strabismus with Botox, which will relax the eye muscles and help his eyes to stand up correctly.

Nikita's father is in the military, so all the care for the children (Nikita has a little sister, Stephanie) is mostly left to his mother. The family cannot afford to pay for the eye examinations and surgery to correct strabismus.
