Blind and visually impaired students of the boarding school received a new tactile wall

Thanks to your support, blind and visually impaired students of the boarding school received a new tactile wall. The first wall was installed 5 years ago, during which time more than a third of the elements were lost. On the one hand, this is good, which means that children are actively interested in the tactile wall, studying it. We have reviewed some aspects of the use of elements in creating a tactile wall and are confident that the new wall will last a very long time and with benefit. The tactile wall contains artificial grass, buttons, corks and ceramic mosaics. It combines various textures: smooth, rough, rounded, dense, soft and hard. Emphasis is placed on various color options, since many children distinguish colors and it is very important for them that the picture be contrasting. Thanks to tubers, a little more money was raised, so the wall was made larger. Now children can continue to explore the world around them with the help of a tactile wall, relax their hands after reading Braille, develop new skills and improve their well-being.
