A large number of animals live in shelters at the same time. Due to the number and overcrowding, the risk of diseases is very high, so employees always try to be proactive. It is necessary to vaccinate and treat cats and dogs against parasites on time and regularly.

For example, the process of deworming is carried out in order to rid the animal of worms (helminths) and prevent their occurrence in the future. Helminths are very dangerous parasites for tetrapods. They absorb a huge amount of nutrients that enter the animal's body with food. Instead, a cat or dog receives a certain dose of toxic substances poisoning the body, resulting from the vital activity of parasites. Another danger that threatens a pet is a violation of the integrity of the walls in the intestines, as a result of which bacteria and viruses freely enter the bloodstream.

All this can be prevented if anthelmintics (preparations for worms) are given to animals in time as a preventive measure. We have about 100 animals to treat next month, so we're opening a fundraiser to buy anti-parasite drugs.
