Sayan got the palliative care he needed! Thank you!

Dear friends, we would like to introduce you to our mentee, Sayan Gumarov, and address you with a non-standard request. We usually collect money for surgeries and rehabilitation treatments for kids, but sometimes treatment for one reason or another doesn't work, and if you don't get the right diagnosis at the right time, as it happened to Sayan, you will lose precious time and unfortunately you won't get it back, or improve the situation. Sayan became an integral part of our foundation, we managed to help him to have 3 eye operations, but with time it became clear that the treatment was not working and that the cause of Sayan's illnesses was not only retinopathy of prematurity. Soon the cause was found and Sayan was given a disappointing diagnosis of adrenoleukodystrophy, when brain cells are destroyed and, unfortunately, it cannot be cured at the children's age. But we believe that if there is no chance to give the child a chance to recover, it is possible and necessary to provide the child with a comfortable life with everything necessary to maintain the condition. We feel it is our duty to arrange palliative care for Sayan so that this young fighter can be in comfortable conditions.
