Dear friends, in just a day and a half you have collected the money needed for Maryam's rehabilitation!

Now, thanks to your big hearts, in March she will start her next rehabilitation course.

In March, Maryam will be working on the muscles which were weakened after the surgery in May, and this will help her to awaken parts of her brain which control the movement and develop her motor skills. This program will help her to overcome the fear of walking independently and learn to control her body.

Maryam with cerebral palsy needs rehabilitation!

Maryam started to live in an orphanage when she was one and a half years old, at that point she had almost no prospects for an active and fulfilling life. The situation changed when her foster mother Elena took her into her home.

Then the real fight for the girl's health began. Maryam has many health problems, one of the most serious is cerebral palsy. Over the past few years, Maryam has seen a lot of changes due to the rehabilitation courses: once she needed help even with the most basic movements, but now she can sit at her desk in school, work on the computer and study hard!

The next course of rehabilitation is scheduled for March. Her foster mother wants to do everything in her power to allow Maryam to move freely without the need for the wheelchair, but the cost of the course is very high for their family.
