Maryam started to live in an orphanage when she was one and a half years old, at that point she had almost no prospects for an active and fulfilling life. The situation changed when her foster mother Elena took her into her home. Then the real fight for the girl's health began. Maryam has many health problems, one of the most serious is cerebral palsy. Over the past few years, Maryam has seen a lot of changes due to the rehabilitation courses: once she needed help even with the most basic movements, but now she can sit at her desk in school, work on the computer and study hard! The next course of rehabilitation is scheduled for March. Her foster mother wants to do everything in her power to allow Maryam to move freely without the need for the wheelchair, but the cost of the course is very high for their family.
