Spina bifida is a congenital disorder in which the spine splits. Children with this disease have no sensitivity and motor activity in the lower extremities, most children have impaired pelvic organ function. Our charges do not develop like other children, because the disease affects the brain and mental functions such as perception, thinking, memory, and speech.

Rehabilitation and treatment of such children requires the coordinated work of all specialists: a neurologist, a urologist, an orthopedist. And classes with a neuropsychologist are essential. Such sessions help compensate for the mental functions which were lost or underdeveloped due to the illness. Patients diagnosed with spina bifida need a course of such classes to get noticeable results in their development.
