Friends, thank you for taking part in the lives of our little wards. Thanks to your help we were able to quickly buy and give the children's families essential replacement medications.

Khalid and other patients with severe immune deficiencies needed expensive medication to keep the disease in check. For each of the children the course of these drugs is an opportunity to forget about their disease for a while and live a full life. Khalid has already started treatment and his condition is stabilizing every day. The doctors say there is a definite positive trend.

Khalid and other children with congenital immunodeficiency need life-saving therapy

Twelve-year-old Khalid from Grozny has been sick since birth. All his childhood the boy's body was worn out by infections - bronchitis, pneumonia, otitis media, maxillary sinusitis. At first, high doses of antibiotics helped cope with complications. But later they stopped working, too.

Three years ago, doctors suspected Khalid had a congenital immunodeficiency disorder. This disease makes the boy defenseless against infections, and also gives complications to the work of many systems and organs. In Khalid's case the lungs and intestines suffered the hardest blow. In order to recover, the boy is prescribed the drug Sirolimus. But his family can't buy it because the cost of the medicine is too high.

Dear tubers, we are raising funds to pay for important medicine for Khalid and other children with congenital immune disorders. Let's help them cope with the complications and have a fulfilled childhood!
