Bunavsha is a spring girl, turning twelve in March, but she looks much younger. Skinny, with thin wrists, she is two heads below all her schoolmates. Like Thumbelina from Andersen's fairy tale.
The girl is already determined that when she grows up, she will be a dentist, and every day she confidently tells her mother, "You'll see, I'll be a good doctor!"
The girl loves to draw, listen to music, and play with her brothers and little sister Fatima, but now she has less and less energy for it. Bunavsha complains about not feeling well, her abdomen has increased in size and hurts. Doctors diagnosed her with an oncological disease - a large tumor. The Russian MDKB named after Pirogov is ready to perform an urgent surgery to remove it. The treatment will have to be paid for and is absolutely unaffordable for Gulia's mother, who is raising five children alone.
