Four-year old Ali was born with a heart problem. He underwent three operations, during the last one cardiac surgeons installed an artificial valve for the child. To keep the prosthesis working smoothly, the boy was prescribed medicine to prevent blood clotting and clotting. Regular blood tests are needed to determine the dose of the drug. Madina does it with a portable machine with test strips. One pack is enough for two months.
Normal blood values are 2.5-3.5 units. Any deviations from these figures require adjustment of the dose of the drug. It is dangerous both to reduce it unreasonably - because of clots it will break the heart valve, and to increase it - it can open bleeding.
The Vitaevs are running out of test strips, and they have no money for new ones. For Ali's heart to work without failures, our help is needed. With a supply of test strips the child's motor will be safe for the whole year.
