Both of Irina's adopted daughters have severe spina bifida. The youngest daughter, Sonya, had to fight very hard to be able to move but stand on her own two feet, and now she needs another course of rehabilitation. Her hard work during rehabilitation and daily exercises at home give her visible results. Sonya not only tries to get up from the chair, but has even started dancing and running in the wheelchair! The doctors say that rehabilitation should not be interrupted under any circumstances. A pause in treatment can cause a serious setback, and then all the previous efforts would be in vain.
