Little Muhammad was discharged from the Moscow hospital because the family had no money to continue treatment. Interruption of treatment threatens the child's life.
In his home country of Tajikistan, it took a long time for the child to get a proper diagnosis. After a biopsy was taken, the boy was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, but even that diagnosis proved wrong. The child's condition worsened, and he began having attacks of suffocation. The parents immediately decided to take Muhammad to Moscow. Russian doctors, after further examinations, were able to make the correct diagnosis - histiocytosis from Langerhans cells with multi-organ involvement.
This pathology is extremely rare in children, 3-10 cases per 1 million children per year. In severe cases, the disease is fatal.
Urgent, expensive therapy is needed to defeat the disease. The parents sold everything of value and took out loans, but the money was only enough for the first phase of treatment, so they turned to foundations for help.
We ask you to support the family of little Muhammad and help him continue his life-saving treatment!
