Dear friends, thanks to your caring hearts, Ayara had a successful eye surgery!

As a result of premature birth, the girl had Retinopathy of both eyes. This operation is the second one for Ayara, and already, as her mother told us, there is progress, she reacts to the light even without glasses!

In May 2024 they should go to St. Petersburg for a second examination, which will show whether another operation is needed. And now the baby is with her family in the homeland, she has started to actively crawl, even repeats some words! Although Ayara is 2 years old soon, and she is a little behind in development, these successes mean a lot to mom and dad!

Ayara needs emergency eye surgery to save her sight!

Ayara is 10 months old and was born prematurely. As a consequence, she has an eye disease: Retinopathy. This disease is dangerous because retinal detachment occurs because of immature vessels, and if the child is not operated on time, it can lead to complete blindness.

The girl has already had one operation, now she needs a second one!

The parents could not afford to pay for the treatment. The family is large, with four children, and low-income.

"We believe that our daughter will see this world in beautiful bright colors and enjoy life," the mother wrote.
