On the May weekend, 12 special children with their parents and volunteers visited Samara with a tour. Since the road is long, the trip was by train. “It was as if they attached a separate last carriage for us, in which only our friendly, cheerful company rode,” Rimma, Gleb's mother, shares her impressions.
The Museum of Cosmonautics left a great impression on the children. Afterwards, the children were given a visit to an observation deck located inside the dome of the building at a height of 95 meters. The children were delighted to get acquainted with the landscapes of Samara from a bird's eye view. Then, on the contrary, they descended 37 meters underground into the Stalin Bunker. The trip ended with a three-hour excursion on a comfortable bus with a visit to Pushkin Square, the Ladya stele, a walk along the Samara embankment and Leningradskaya street.
We were very worried about how the trip would go, whether our wards would withstand the long journey - but everything worked out. Everyone liked the trip, and most importantly, it will help the socialization and adaptation of special children.
Thank you very much to the Tubers for the unforgettable impressions and emotions of the wards of the Center and their parents!
