Rauf is 1 year 8 months old and has a congenital malformation of the spinal cord and brain.
A few months ago the boy had a surgery and we collected money to pay for the post-operative rehabilitation course.
But the other day the child was examined and it turned out that he needed one more surgery, and it was urgent. There was a pressure on the vital structures of the brain, which are responsible for breathing and heartbeat. The bone in the skull had to be removed and the compression of the brain stem had to be alleviated.
The hospital is asking us to divert the funds we collected from the rehabilitation to the surgery and to add the missing amount.
Raufchik is a very bright, kind, and inquisitive little boy! He has gone through all the trials, but nevertheless he is always smiling! He loves to swim and look at the birds, and in the evenings he listens to the stories that his mother and sister take turns reading to him.
