Little Muhammad is three years old. He looks like an ordinary child - smiling and mischievous. He likes to watch cartoons and play with cars. But most of his life is spent in hospitals.
Since his birth, the boy is often and for a long time sick. The child's body is worn out by constant infections - bronchitis, pneumonia, whooping cough, purulent otitis, furunculosis. "Two weeks at home, a month in the hospital. And for a long time no one understood why," Muhammad's mother recalls at the time.
Last year, doctors finally gave Muhammad the right diagnosis. The boy was diagnosed with a congenital genetic defect - primary immunodeficiency. This means that the child's body is defenseless even against the most innocuous viruses. An accidental infection could cause Muhammad severe, life-threatening complications.
To prevent this from happening, the boy is indicated on costly therapy with antibiotics and donor antibodies. These drugs will prevent dangerous inflammations from developing in the baby's body.
Dear tubers, together let's help pay for a life-saving therapy for Muhammad! Let his childhood be without hospitals!
