21 March is International Down Syndrome Day. Thanks to you we were able to organise an entertainment event for children with this diagnosis.

We organised a colourful performance, fine motor games, rides and fun dances with the animators. We understand that it is very important for the children to take part in the event, not just watch, so that they understand and feel that they are needed in society.

That is why our volunteers paid special attention to every child. And the children were eager to make contact, feeling comfortable and safe! Maybe some of the kids did not understand what was going on, but they reacted visually, ran out to the leaders and danced with them. And we rejoiced looking at the happy smiles of these wonderful kids.

We are planning a fun event for 40 children with Down syndrome!

"Sunny" is the name given to people with Down syndrome because they are gifted with a particularly joyful attitude towards people and are always smiling.

Even though a child with Down syndrome does not speak well and we cannot always understand him, he understands us well. And most importantly, he really wants to communicate with us.

KDL Foundation plans to hold a series of events, to make the little wards happy, to bring more bright colours, care and attention into their lives. So that they can forget about their illnesses and diseases, at least for a while, and feel like ordinary children.

We will gather our little friends at the entertainment centre and organise an event with gifts, treats and animation for them.

We believe that care multiplied by love works wonders!
