We are very grateful to everyone who helped close the fundraiser! Thanks to you and your help, more than 50 families with foster children received psychological help. For each adult in the adoptive family, it was a new chance to bond, and for each child, it was a chance to learn to trust adults anew.

The work with the families continues, but already now you can see how children and parents begin to understand each other better, affection is forming between them and a strong, warm relationship is developing.

Helping a young person deal with the trauma of losing a parent is a long process, but thanks to you, foster families have taken their first steps and begun to work with professionals! Thank you!

100 Families with Foster Children Need Your Help!

Herman spent the first 7 years of his life in an orphanage. In the foster family the boy was always a restless child, but in the last months a real crisis began: Herman refused to go to school, withdrew into himself and started to perceive everyone as enemies.

Experts from our foundation found out that at the orphanage the boy was regularly beaten by older children and food was taken away from him. The child survived episodes of sexual abuse. Herman managed to survive in such conditions, but even years later, the experience makes itself felt. The task of the specialist is to create distance in relation to the experience, it will help to leave the trauma of the orphanage in the past.

There are more than 100 families who are raising foster children with similar problems. In order to help foster families on a regular basis for two months, we need to raise 900,000 rubles.
