Muhammad was born 16 weeks premature and weighed less than 500 grams. The baby spent the first two weeks of his life in the intensive care unit. Muhammad will soon be 3 months old, but he is still nursing in the hospital. Now the boy had retinopathy of prematurity. This is a very insidious disease that can quickly lead to complete blindness.

To prevent Muhammad from losing his vision, an urgent operation must be performed - to inject the baby with a special medicine that will prevent the retina from detaching and keep him able to see. It only helps if the injection is given within the next 72 hours.

Muhammad's parents are Uzbek citizens, so the only way to operate on his eyes in Russia is for a fee. Now Muhammad's family does not have that kind of money and they are forced to ask for help.
