Kerosene (Kira) lived at the shelter for over 10 years and is now about 13 years old. One day his guardians noticed that he began to walk badly and clench his paw. The vets found a bite, which was already inflamed and infected. Most likely there was a fight between Kira and her new young, ambitious neighbor, which ended in a bite.

We need to sanitize the wound under anesthesia, and then we'll have regular checkups with a surgeon, wound care, and medicine.
